Lowesville Gospel Concerts/Vineyard Church, The Kramers and Hazel Sain, Saturday, May 14:  Vineyard Church (formerly Living Word Ministries), 1062 South Hwy 16, Stanley (Lowesville), NC presents on Saturday, May 14 at 6 p.m. The Kramers from Indianapolis, Indiana and Hazel Sain from Vale, North Carolina. As always, NO ADMISSION COST, a freewill offering only to be received, and you are invited. We have concerts every 2nd and 4th Saturday. McKendree UMC Sunday Luncheon, Sunday, May 15, 2022: From 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Menu includes Chicken Alfredo and Shepherd’s Pie with sides, dessert and drink. $8 donation requested. Both inside dining and take-out will be available. The church is located at 3537 Maiden Hwy. Lincolnton, NC 28092.

Bethel Baptist Yard and Hotdog Sale, May 20-21:  The WMU of Bethel Baptist Church, 200 Bethel Church Rd., Lincolnton, NC 28092 will host a Yard and Hotdog Sale fundraiser to benefit their scout program (Troop 72 and Pack 72) on Friday, May 20 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. and on Saturday, May 21 from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. In addition to hotdogs there will be fried pies. Yard Sale items include lots of craft supplies, housewares, décor items, clothes, odds and ends… a little bit of everything! Raffle tickets will also be available for $5 to win an electric reclining leather chair. Email bethelbaptisthen@gmail.com for more information.

Providence Missionary Baptist, LC Health and Wellness Fair, Saturday, May 21: The Lincoln County Health and Wellness Fair will be held Saturday, May 21 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Providence Missionary Baptist Church, 1110 E. Pine St., Lincolnton, NC 28092. Free parking and admission. There will be prizes, giveaways, games, art and food (Hotdog, Chips, Drink Meal for $3.00; snow cones and cotton candy). The event will be open to the public for people of all ages. The goal is to promote knowledge of health and wellness resources available in Lincoln County from many different organizations, companies, etc. For more information please call 980-216-9813.
