LOWESVILLE––The Ohio-based Lore Family will perform a free concert Aug. 13 at 6 p.m.

The Vineyard Church of Lowesville is the place to be, according to noted gospel singer and concert co-ordinator Carroll Cooke. And although the concert is free, as Cooke recently noted, a free-will offering will be taken up.

The Lores hail from Portsmouth, on southern Ohio’s border with Kentucky. They feature Darren, Sandy, Fayth, Jake and Samuel Lore. Over the past several years, the Lores have ministered in hundreds of services. The family makes it a point to ensure that each concert or ministry opportunity is fulfilled in excellence and authenticity. They strive to ensure that every appointment filled has meaning and impact for those in attendance.

Also on the bill will the Pine Ridge Boys of Inman, S.C., as Cooke informed.

They are, he said, “one of our favorites in Lowesville. This will make their 11th appearance in 10 years. We always feel honored to have the Pine Ridge Boys come bless us with their smooth harmonies. This will be a very good evening, so come early and get that seat you prefer!”

The Vineyard Church is located at 1062 NC-16 South in Lowesville, just down the road from Hill’s Chapel United Methodist Church. The church features Southern, bluegrass and/or acoustic gospel concerts every Saturday evening.
