St. Pauls Lutheran Spaghetti Luncheon, Sunday, January 30: St. Pauls Lutheran Church, 2834 W. Old NC 150 Hwy,. Crouse, NC 28033 will host a CARRY-OUT SPAGHETTI LUNCHEON on Sunday, January 30 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Proceeds will be used to purchase a new electronic keyboard and children's Sunday School and VBS materials. Cost by donation, please give generously.

Herter ONeal Scholarship Nominations By March 21: Nominations are being sought for a $750 scholarship offered by the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Administrative Professionals Association (NCCEAPA) through March 21, 2022. The scholarship is available to North Carolina residents pursuing a college degree (Associates and/or Bachelors) in business or a business-related field of study. Applicants must be enrolled to attend classes at a college during the 2022-2023 school year. The scholarship is awarded annually to honor the work and dedication of Edith Herter and Frances O’Neal, co-leaders in forming the NCCEAPA in 1973. Qualified applicants interested in applying for this scholarship should be able to obtain an application packet from the financial aid office at their local community college or high school. Additional information can be obtained by contacting the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service, Lincoln County Center, at 704-736-8461, or by visiting the Center at 115 West Main Street, Lincolnton (James W. Dallas Baptist, Shellem Cline In Concert, Sunday, January 30: Christian country artist Shellem Cline will be in concert at Dallas Baptist Church on Sunday, January 30 at 6 p.m. There is no admission fee, but a love offering will be taken. Lowesville Gospel Concerts/Vineyard Church, Michael Wayne Smith, Saturday, January 29: Vineyard Church (formerly Living Word Ministries), 1062 South Hwy 16, Stanley (Lowesville), NC presents on Saturday, January 29 at 5 p.m. Before launching out on his own, Smith was known for writing songs for other gospel musical acts. “My Home” is perhaps his best-known hit, and it was a number-one smash on gospel radio stations across America. This will be a great evening. As always, NO ADMISSION COST, a freewill offering only to be received, and you are invited.
