In March, Ralph Sisk celebrated his 99th birthday. He passed in May. Sisk, a pilot and paratrooper, was a decorated WWII veteran. HE won two Bronze Stars. In 2011, he was named Lincoln County's Veteran of the Year.

This Saturday (Nov. 13th) from 10 - 3, the Lincolnton-Lincoln County Airport on Jack Dellinger Road off NC73 east of Lincolnton will host a car show and fly-in remembering and honoring Ralph. Proceeds will benefit the Disabled American Veterans chapter 53.
