Lincolnton's Food, Wine & Brew Fest that had been scheduled for Saturday (April 22nd) has been postponed until September 23rd.  Cherryville's Cherry Blossom Festival will still be held Friday night & Saturday.

Cherryville's festival is actually a two-day event, and Friday night's forecast appears promising.  DJ Johnny B will start the evening's entertainment at the Mini-Park and the Cat Five Band will play.  Rides will be available for the kids to enjoy.  The Miss Cherry Blossom Pageant will be held at the Community Center.

Saturday, depending on the weather, the entertainment will continue with Dirty Grass Soul and (weather permitting) the Gaston Symphonic Band.  15-20 food trucks are scheduled to be there, and some local churches, clubs, schools, etc. will also have food sales.  There will be an antique car show and the History Museum and the Carolina Freight Museum will be open.  

In Lincolnton, the Food, Wine & Brew Fest has been postponed until September 23rd.  They planned to go ahead even if it was raining, but at mid-afternoon Friday, they decided to postpone the event because of the possibility of thunderstorms.
