Boger City UMC Saint’s & Sinners Indoor Yard Sale & Biscuits, Saturday, April 20: An Indoor Yard Sale will be held Saturday, April 20 from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Boger City United Methodist Church hosted by the Saint’s & Sinners Sunday School class. The church is located at 2320 East Main Street, Lincolnton, NC 28092. The yard sale will include books, magazines, clothing, household, furniture, metal painters extension ladder, tools, and miscellaneous items. In addition the WADY’s (We Ain’t Dead Yet) Group, consisting of members 60+year old and older, will be selling sausage biscuits and other breakfast items.

Pleasant Grove UMW Yard & Bake Sale, Saturday, April 20: The United Methodist Women of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, 2069 Highway 182, Lincolnton, NC 28092 will host a HUGE Yard and Bake Sale from 7 a.m. until 12 noon in the Basement. Come and find your special treasure! All are welcome. REMEMBER THE EVENT WILL BE HELD IN THE BASEMENT OF THE CHURCH.
McKendree MC Sunday Luncheon, April 21: McKendree Methodist Church, 3537 Maiden Highway, Lincolnton, NC 28092 announces its monthly "3rd Sunday Luncheon" on April 21 from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Menu is lasagna and baked chicken, served with sides, bread, drinks, and desserts. A requested donation of $8 per plate supports multiple ministries.  Both dine-in, takeout and drive-thru available.

Victory Christian Academy Men’s Conference, Saturday, April 27: The fourth annual “Greater Purpose of a Godly Man” Men’s Conference will be held Saturday, April 27, 1-4 p.m. in the gymnasium of the Victory Christian Academy in Gastonia. The academy is part of the South Gastonia Church of God campus, located at 310 Carolina Ave. in Gastonia. The Jonathan Fletcher Quartet will perform “The Star-Spangled Banner.” Molded Clay will perform praise-and-worship music. This year’s speakers include State Rep. Donnie Loftus, Dr. Paul Brintley, Pastor Shannon Williams, district court judges Ed Bogle and Craig Collins, Zechary Singh, Bishop Claude Williams, George Zambratta, Sam Bethea and Ravon Nichols. Crouse UMC Murphy Clark Benefit, Saturday, May 4: “Sometimes real superheroes live in small children fighting big battles.” Murphy Clark was born with a congenital heart defect and now at age 13 he needs a heart transplant. Crouse United Methodist Church will host a benefit for Murphy on Saturday, May 4 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Join us for our world-famous hot dogs, homemade baked goods and a good old-fashioned car wash.
