LINCOLNTON, N.C. - Jennie Colette Turner Walker, age 73, of Burton Estates Lane in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, April 25, 2024.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at First Wesleyan Church of Bessemer City with the funeral service to follow.  Rev. Matt Mitchell will officiate.  Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lincolnton. 

Colette was born February 3, 1951, in Lincoln County, to the late Clarence and Stella Whitaker Turner.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Eugene Walker.  She worked as an administrative assistant. 

She is survived by a son, John Wesley Walker (Candace) of Crouse; daughter, Krista Walker Dilling (Mark) of Dallas; brother, Rodney Turner (Margaret Ann) of Lincolnton; grandchildren, Jonathan Walker, Victoria Dilling, and Matthew Dilling; two step-grandchildren, Landon Darty and Hunter Powell; and her beloved furbaby, Snuggles.
