LINCOLNTON, N.C. - The Lincoln County Board of Commissioners will hold public hearings on Monday, February 5, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. to consider the following matters:

SP #2024-1 S.C. Hondros & Associates, Inc., applicant (Parcel ID# 54664) A request for major site plan approval for the construction of a 48,000-square-foot building and a 43,200-square-foot equipment demonstration pad on a 32.5-acre parcel to support the operations of an existing industrial facility. The subject property is located at 1957 Sennebogen Tr. in Catawba Springs Township.

SUP #501 Metal Fastening Systems, Inc., applicant (Parcel ID# 102324) A request for a special use permit to construct a distribution center in the Eastern Lincoln Development District (ELDD) overlay. The 5.6-acre parcel is located at the end of Jameson Way on the west side of N.C. 16 Business in Catawba Springs Township.

There are no Legislative Cases for the month of February.

The Lincoln County Planning Board will hold their regular meeting on Monday, February 5, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. Due to not having any legislative cases, board members will discuss upcoming UDO amendments based on new changes in state law and provide feedback to staff who are preparing drafts for both Planning Board and BOC consideration later this winter and early spring. In lieu of a mailed packet, a separate email to the Planning Board will be distributed this week with a copy of last month’s meeting minutes and a list of the UDO topics for discussion at the meeting.
