LINCOLNTON, N.C. – Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics investigators arrested a western Lincoln County woman on drug charges.

Investigators received information in late 2023 that Lisa Clinton Gaither, 42, of Macedonia Church Road was selling large amounts of methamphetamine throughout western Lincoln County.

Using the information received narcotics officers were able to make large purchases of methamphetamine in late December 2023 and January 2024.  Warrants were obtained in early March 2024 and Gaither had been on the run until March 18, 2024 when investigators received information that she was staying at a residence on Peeler Road.  Gaither was found hiding inside the residence and was taken into custody without incident.

Gaither is charged with three counts each of possession with the intent to manufacture, sell and deliver Schedule II controlled substance and trafficking methamphetamine. She was also served a warrant for failure to appear. Gaither was taken before a Lincoln County magistrate and placed in the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center under a no bond hold.
